Bearcats fall in final seconds to Allegheny, 9-8
LATROBE, Pa. (Mar. 31) – The Saint Vincent women’s lacrosse team suffered a tough 9-8 Presidents’ Athletic Conference loss to Allegheny College Tuesday evening at UPMC Field, with the Gators scoring the game-winner with 32 seconds remaining. Allegheny took a 3-2 lead after the opening quarter before extending its advantage to 4-3 at halftime. The Gators added three goals in the third, but the Bearcats stayed within striking distance behind a pair of scores from Chloe Herring and entered the fourth trailing 7-5.
