Baseball drops midweek matchup to UMO
Mount Olive, N.C. (Mar. 31, 2026)- The Virginia State University baseball team continued its road trip at University of Mount Olive and dropped the matinee game #-# Both teams went scoreless in the first three innings. Then in the top of the fourth inning Hector Rivera started with a single, which was followed by Ralph Rivera single and a Trey Mitchell bunt single to load the bases. Jaron Ward was then hit by a pitch to bring in the first run of the game. Johnathan Smith then hit a sac fly to bring home the second run of the game....
