Bailey wins high jump with multiple Spartans having top finishes at Wheaton Invite
The Aurora University Women’s Track and Field team competed in the Wheaton Invite hosted by Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL on Tuesday. Keyara Bailey tied for the victory in the Long Jump, jumping a season best 4.92m. Susi Martinez earned a runner-up finish in the 1,500-Meter with a personal best time of 5:01.08. In the throws, Marisa Janecek threw for second place in the Discus with a mark of 35.02m. She then finished third in the Hammer throw with a strong toss of 39.05m.
