50th Butler Student-Athlete Earns All-America Honors Under Coach Matt Roe
Coach Matt Roe produced his 50th All-American when Jesse Hamlin earned All-America first-team honors in the men's 3,000 meters earlier this month at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championships. Hamlin's fifth-place finish tied the highest individual finish in Butler's indoor track and field history and earned him the honors for the second time following his seventh-place finish in 2023. In addition to Hamlin's two All-America honors, William Zegarski and Matthew Forrester are current Bulldogs who have also earned All-America honors during their respective Butler careers.
