Women鈥檚 Tennis knocks off Truman State, falls to Northwestern (IA) & Grinnell
CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa 鈥� The Coe College women’s tennis team played a trio of matches over the weekend, defeating DII Truman State while falling to in-state opponents Northwestern (IA) and Grinnell. The Kohawks opened the weekend with a 5-2 loss to the Red Raiders, picking up a pair of victories in singles from Maria Bello Escobar and Cosette Gaines . Coe rounded out Saturday’s action with a defeat to Grinnell, falling 6-1 to the Pioneers.
