Transylvania Defeats Trine In Thriller
Matthew Welsh Contributing Writer LEXINGTON, KY- Transylvania defeated Trine, 14-13, at Pat Deacon Stadium. The Pioneers were led by Layla Hobbs-Powell, who scored five goals in the win.Transylvania finished with 38 shots, including 24 on goal, while making six saves and committing eight turnovers. The Pioneers also recorded 23 clears and 16 ground balls. After giving up three early goals, Kaelin Truman got the Pioneers on the scoreboard.
