Thiel battles No. 15 Mount Union
GREENVILLE, Pa. (March 30) — The Thiel College Baseball team dropped a 14-8 non-conference clash with No. 15 Mount Union Monday afternoon from Tomcat Park. The Tomcats drop to 5-15 while the Purple Raiders improve to 19-4. Calvin Cackowski (Wickliffe, Ohio/Wickliffe) raked a leadoff solo homer in the second inning and JT Gerle (Ambridge, Pa./Ambridge) knocked a 2-RBI double to put Thiel ahead 3-2.
