Statesmen Slug Past Yellowjackets in Series Finale
PRINCE ATHLETIC COMPLEX 鈥� Fueled by four home runs, all coming in three consecutive innings, visiting Hobart College earned a Liberty League series sweep over the University of Rochester baseball team by virtue of an 11-5 win on Monday evening at Towers Field. Hobart (17-6, 5-0 Liberty League) picked up its second straight 11-5 victory over the Yellowjackets (8-10, 1-5 Liberty League), and ended up outscoring URochester over the three-game set by a 35 to 16 margin.
