Spencer Moody collects SLIAC Men鈥檚 Golfer of the Week honor
GRINNELL, Iowa 鈥� After leading the Grinnell College men’s golf team to a school-record performance, Spencer Moody ’29 has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week. Moody, from Vancouver, Wash. (Mountain View), helped the Pioneers shatter a 61-year-old school record at the Wartburg Spring Invite over the weekend. Moody fired a 2-over-par 146 at the event to place eighth in a field of 96 golfers, including a 2-under round of 70 on the opening day.
