FREDERICK, Md. 鈥� The Hood College softball team fell just short of a split against Elizabethtown College, falling 11-3 and 5-4 at home. At the Plate Lizzie McConnell (Stevensville, Md./Kent Island) went 2-4 with an RBI in game one. Amy Montgomery-Snoke (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) was a perfect 4-4 on the day, getting a pinch-hit-single in the first game before singling in all three at-bats of game two.
