Sobaski Named USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana- Wartburg College senior, Lance Sobaski was named USTFCCCA Men’s National Athlete of the Week, the national organization announced this afternoon. Sobaski (Brighton, Iowa/Washington) put together a historic performance in the 3000m steeplechase on Mar 26 (Thu) at the WashU Distance Carnival in St. Louis. Sobaski competed in a loaded field and earned a second place finish out of 48 total competitors. Sobaski ran the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III history of 8:40.85.
