Reice wins at singles as Tennis falls to Emerson in NEWMAC opener
NEW LONDON, Conn. 鈥� The United States Coast Guard Academy tennis team was defeated, 1-6, by New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foes Emerson College on Sunday. The Bears’ lone point on the day was won by junior Noah Reice (Wilmington, Del.) in his season debut at #6 singles. Coast Guard drops to 0-3 on the season and opens the conference slate at 0-1, while Emerson improves to 7-6 overall and 2-1 in league play. The Lions will face another NEWMAC challenge in the form of Babson College 8-3 (1-0) for their next one on Friday, April 3rd.…
