BEVERLY, Mass. – On Monday, the Conference of New England (CNE) announced its weekly track and field awards, with graduate student Kayla Pelletier (Southington, Conn.) being crowned Conference Athlete of the Week. Pelletier came to play in the women's javelin throw event, taking first place by a large margin with her toss of 45.00 meter. Pelletier cleared the next closest athlete by over 12 meters, with second place posting a 32.59 meter toss.
