Pitman, NJ- Announced on Monday afternoon by the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) office, Montclair State University baseball freshman DANNY O’BRIEN and women’s outdoor track and field freshman MICEL MARTINEZ were tabbed as NJAC Rookies of the Week for their respective sports. They were honored for their performances between March 23 and 29. O’Brien was sensational in Montclair’s 4-0 week. The freshman infielder finished with seven hits, eight RBI, six runs scored, and two stolen bases.
