Moynihan, Friedman Earn Ivy League Weekly Awards
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Following a thrilling upset win over defending national champion No. 9 Cornell on the road—Yale's first win in Ithaca since 2018— Peter Moynihan and Ben Friedman from the Yale men's lacrosse team garnered weekly honors from the Ivy League, as announced on Monday afternoon. Moynihan was named Offensive Player of the Week, and Friedman was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week. The weekly honors from the league are the first of both Moynihan's and Friedman's careers.
