ALFRED, NY 鈥� Alfred University men's tennis team member Andr茅 L贸pez Jim茅nez ( Mexico City, Mexico/PrepaTec Esmeralda) was selected as the Empire 8 Player of the Week on Monday. He receives this weekly honor for the first time in his career. L贸pez Jim茅nez played an instrumental role in AU's first Empire 8 victory of the season against Nazareth University on Saturday.
