LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Freshman outside hitter Jackson Cryst earned Big West Player of the Week honors after a nearly flawless performance in No. 3 Long Beach State's 2-0 weekend sweep of No. 18 CSUN. Cryst was hyper-efficient offensively, totaling 17 kills on just 19 swings for an exceptional .789 hitting percentage across eight sets.
