Hickey and Campbell Named SoCon Softball Athletes of the Week
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Samford softball team is coming off a 4-0 week, where they swept a Southern Conference series against Chattanooga. Two Bulldogs earned individual accolades as Reese Hickey and Katie Campbell were named SoCon Pitcher and Player of the Week when the conference released their weekly awards this afternoon. Katie Campbell was stellar offensively this week for the Bulldogs, going 8-for-13 at the plate on her way to the Player of the Week award.
