Hammond named Women’s NCAA DIII National Athlete of the Week
Senior Ally Hammond continues to make Pacific Track and Field history, becoming the first Boxer to be named a National Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Saturday at the Pacific Open, Hammond won the women’s 100-meter hurdles in 13.60 seconds, the second fastest time in NCAA Division-III history. Only UMASS Boston’s Aryianna Garceau – who edged Hammond for the NCAA indoor 60 hurdles title earlier this month – has run faster outdoors, finishing in 13.54 to win the 2025 NCAA championship last spring.
