Hailey Mellec Chosen as the MIAA Softball Pitcher of the Week
Hope College pitcher Hailey Mellec has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Softball Pitcher of the Week for the first time in her career. The junior lefthander averaged 9 陆 strikeouts and 1.5 runs allowed last week during nine combined innings against Greenville College and host Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. Mellec recorded victories in both games and helped the Flying Dutch extend their winning streak to a season-high eight games.
