ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. – The Hobart golf team opened its spring schedule at the McDaniel Spring Invitational over the weekend. Four Statesmen finished top 15 at the two-day invitational, securing third place out of 10 teams. First-year Troy Gregg led Hobart with a fourth-place finish in the 36-hole invitational at The Bridges Golf Club. Gregg shot two over par and two shots off the lead after day one. In Sunday's closing round, he shot six over par, finishing the invitational at +8. Gregg's score of 152 was just four strokes behind the individual champion from Goucher.
