Goins, Jean Grab Wins Versus Norfolk State
NORFOLK, Va. (March 29, 2026) 鈥� Howard University women’s tennis team suffered its first MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) loss of the season against Norfolk State (NSU), 5-2, at Folkes Stevens Tennis Center, home of Old Dominion. Despite the setback, junior Imani Jean (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and rookie Chloe Goins (Burr Ridge, Ill.) grabbed singles victories Sunday morning. Jean rallied from an early match deficit to win in three sets against NSU’s Daroszewska Julia (3-6, 6-4, 6-3).
