Garceau Earns LEC Co-Track Athlete of the Week; Mishal Earns Rookie Recognition
PROVIDENCE, RI (March 30, 2026) 鈥� Following UMass Boston’s outdoor season opener at the UMass Flagship Opener, junior Aryianna Garceau (Dalton, Mass.) and first-year Omar Mishal (Peabody, Mass.) have earned Little East Conference weekly honors 鈥� Garceau as Women’s Co-Track Athlete of the Week and Mishal as Men’s Track Rookie of the Week. In her first collegiate 400m hurdles race, Garceau made an immediate impact on the national rankings.
