Cardinals Clipped by A&M-Corpus Christi
BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University's bid for a third-straight Southland Conference victory came up just short Monday afternoon as the Cardinals dropped a 5-2 decision to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Thompson Family Tennis Center. The Islanders jumped on the gas early taking the matches on all three doubles courts for the early 1-0 lead. A&M-Corpus Christi made it a 3-0 lead, but the Cardinals were trying to fight their way back into the match on courts 1 and 2.
