Alexander Named Little East Field Athlete of the Week
PROVIDENCE, R.I. 鈥� The Little East has announced its weekly honorees in men’s outdoor track & field and UMass Dartmouth student-athlete Ancil Alexander was recognized. The sophomore was named the conference’s Field Athlete of the Week for the second straight week in the outdoor season. It also marks his fifth overall honor of 2026, including indoor. Alexander, who hails from Taunton, Mass., had another record-breaking weekend at Saturday’s Corsair Classic, winning the discus throw with another school record (his previous: 52.94m) and personal best throw of 54.90 meters (180′ 1″).
