Women’s Tennis Earns 6-1 Victory Over Niagara
NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – The Marist University women's tennis team earned a 6-1 victory over Niagara on Saturday evening at Sportsplex New Windsor. The Red Foxes set the tone early by sweeping the doubles point. Sophomore Viktoria Lorentzon and freshman Tessa Wachtel earned a 7-5 win at No. 1, while junior Caterina Assi and freshman Yasmin Asnis followed with a 6-3 victory at No. 2. Senior Cloe Clements Sorde and sophomore Lola Ungerman led 5-1 at No. 3 before the match was halted after the point was secured.
