Women’s Tennis Defeated by Niagara

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Women’s Tennis narrowly fell to Niagara Sunday afternoon by a score of 4-3. The Broncs were able to split singles at three apiece with the Purple Eagles, highlighted by straight-set wins from Anna Bong and Elle Catanzarite. Bong was tested in the first set, but ultimately prevailed 7-5, 6-3, while Catanzarite cruised to a second-set victory after a tight first set, 7-6 (7-2), 6-1. Kashish Kant was also awarded a victory in a match that went unfinished. Women’s Tennis will face Merrimack at home this Friday in their next contest. Print Friendly Version
