Track & Field Posts Strong Results at Gordon and Bryant
WENHAM, Mass. 鈥� The Bowdoin College track & field teams enjoyed a busy weekend of action at Bryant’s Jaylin Rainford Invitational and Gordon’s Jonathan Tymann Invitational. Women’s Highlights Mardy Novak won two events for the Polar Bears, claiming the shot put (10.58m) and javelin (37.01m) at Gordon. Also at Gordon, Caitlin Heus-Smith won the triple jump (10.82m) and Sophie Maguire finished second in the pole vault (3.05m) At Bryant Kaylee Hale paced the Polar Bears, taking third place in the 800m event in a time of 2:16.92.
