Tommies fall in series finale
ST. PAUL, MINN.- The St. Thomas Tommie dropped the series finale 11-7 to the Omaha Mavericks. Joe Roder led the way going three for four with three RBIs and a homerun. Scoring Summary: The Mavericks started the scoring by plating two runs in the top of the first, taking a 2-0 lead. The Tommie then cut the deficit in half when Chris Knowles’s double scored Owen Bond. Omaha then plated three more in the fourth to take a 5-1 lead.
