Tigers Collect 39 Hits in Dominant Sweep of DePauw
SPRINGFIELD, OH – Wittenberg’s offense came out hot and never slowed down, as the Tigers opened North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play with a dominant doubleheader sweep of DePauw on Saturday. Wittenberg earned two run-rule victories, taking game one 19-3 in seven innings before closing the day with a 15-5 win in eight innings. With the sweep, the Tigers extended their winning streak to eight straight games and improved to 17-5 overall, including a perfect 7-0 mark at home this season.
