Thoroughbreds fall to TCNJ, 4-3, in stable game match
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – The Skidmore College women’s tennis team fell in a competitive 4-3 Stable Game match to The College of New Jersey at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center on Sunday. The Thoroughbreds (3-7) dropped the initial doubles point before responding with straight-set victories at first through third singles. However, the Lions (11-0) secured wins at fourth through sixth singles — capped by a third-set victory at fourth singles — to ultimately clinch the match. “Tough battle today.
