Spartans take on weekend full of events
The Aurora University Men’s Track and Field team competed in four events with a partial squads at the WashU Distance Carnival, the St. Louis University Speed/Power Festival, the NCC First Chance Invitational and the Billiken Invitational. WashU Distance Carnival – – Armando Acosta won his heat of the 5,000-Meter in 15:21.15. He kicked hard to win, running his last 400 meters in 63 seconds to beat the runner-up by less than a second.
