Softball Explodes For 20 More Runs Closing Loggers Out in Sunday Sweep
TACOMA, Wash. — The Pacific Lutheran University softball team closed out its four-game series against the Loggers of the University of Puget Sound with a doubleheader sweep Sunday, winning 10-0 in five innings and 10-5. The Lutes scored 20 runs on the day, improving to 18-6 overall and 10-2 in Northwest Conference play. Pacific Lutheran is now tied for first in the NWC standings with Linfield Univerity.
