Softball Drops Series Closer to Georgetown
VILLANOVA, Pa. 鈥� The Villanova softball team fell 7-5 to Georgetown in the series closer Sunday afternoon. The 'Cats (8-27, 4-8 BIG EAST) clinched the series with Saturday's win, but could not achieve their first sweep of the season. Lexi Kobryn (L, 2-8) got the start for the 'Cats, pitching two innings, striking out one, walking one and giving up four runs on four hits.
