Softball Comes Up Short Against Lynchburg
LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Randolph College softball team came up short in both games of Sunday’s doubleheader against Lynchburg, falling 1-16 in game one before a more competitive 2-10 result in game two. Game One After a scoreless first inning, Lynchburg broke through in the second with an RBI groundout to take a 1-0 lead. The Hornets then erupted in the third inning, plating nine runs on a combination of timely hitting and defensive miscues to extend their advantage to 10-0.
