Skidmore battles through first round at Swarthmore Invitational

Skidmore is in a group of five teams separated by just seven strokes. Tate Esler shot a 75 to lead the Thoroughbreds with a team-high 12 pars. Rudraksha Banerjee used an eagle-3 on the 11th for a 78 and tie for 34th with Patrick McLaughlin, who had a team-high two birdies (No. 11, No. 17).
