Salve Regina Defeats Women鈥檚 Tennis
NEWPORT, R.I. (March 28, 2026) 鈥� Salve Regina University swept doubles play and then won four of six singles matches to collect a 5-2 victory over Emerson College in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) women’s tennis match at the International Tennis Hall of Fame on Saturday night. Highlights Senior Sadie Reig and junior Madigan Murphy led the way for Salve Regina as double winners. Junior Anna Grace Hjerpe and freshman Sophia Padro contributed singles points for the Seahawks.
