Ripon Softball Racks Up 14 Hits in 8-2 Win Over UW-La Crosse
RIPON, Wis. — The Ripon College softball team used a balanced offensive attack and a strong performance in the circle to earn an 8-2 win over UW-La Crosse at home on Sunday. Ripon wasted no time getting on the board, scoring twice in the first inning behind an RBI groundout and a sacrifice fly. The Red Hawks added two more runs in the second and continued to build their lead with single runs in the third and fourth before tacking on a pair in the fifth.
