Purchase Falls to Alfred State
PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Purchase College men’s lacrosse team was defeated at home Sunday afternoon, falling by the score of 13-6 to Alfred State College. With the result, the Panthers are now 1-4 overall, while the Pioneers moved to 5-7. The first quarter saw the guests lead 3-2, before extending the margin to 7-3 at halftime. Following the break, the Blue and Orange cut the margin to just two goals at 8-6, before Alfred scored five straight to closeout the win.
