Pointers Power Up to Sweep Lake Forest
WISCONSIN, RAPIDS, Wis. 鈥� The UW-Stevens Point softball team (14-4) hit seven home runs on Sunday in a doubleheader sweep of Lake Forest (8-6). UWSP rallied for an 8-7 walk-off win in eight innings in game one and finished the sweep with an 8-4 win in game two. Ashley Zygowski (Saukville, Wis./Port Washington) hit a home run in each game. She had four hits on the day with two RBI and three runs scored. Hailee Thompson (Bonduel, Wis./Bonduel) and Sophie Schmidt (Twin Lakes, Wis./Wilmot Union) each had four hits on the day.
