Pioneers Compete At Jim Vargo Invitational
Kelsey Weil Contributing Writer LOUISVILLE, KY – This Saturday, the Pioneers traveled to Louisville, KY to compete at the Jim Vargo Invitational. Taking advantage of fantastic weather and strong competition, they delivered outstanding performances, setting numerous personal bests and new school records. Highlights include: Olivia Sparks lowered two of her own school records in the 400m and 200m. She opened her day with a 56.11 in the 400m, shaving more than a second and a half off her previous mark to take the meet win. In the 200m, Sparks ran 24.92 to place 4th.
