Mount Union takes two from Otterbein softball
WESTERVILLE, Ohio 鈥� In its 2026 home opener, the Otterbein University softball team was swept by the University of Mount Union. The Purple Raiders defeated the Cardinals by scores of 9-1, 11-0 on Sunday afternoon. GAME ONE: Mount Union 9 Otterbein 1 Mount Union plated runs in four different innings, including 3-spots in both the fifth and seventh innings. The Purple Raiders pounded 14 hits in game one, holding a lead early on that the Cardinals could not overcome.
