Morgan Karow shatters school record in 3000 at Central Dutch Invite
Results PELLA, Iowa – Morgan Karow ’26 shattered Grinnell College’s school record in the women’s 3000-meter run with a victorious performance at the Central College Dutch Invitational Saturday. Karow won the race in 10 minutes, 23.23 seconds to beat the runner-up by more than 3 seconds. Additionally, she toppled the school record of 10:34.21 established by GC Hall of Famer Nicole Cueno in 2001. The Pioneers had two third-place finishers, Juniper Schwartzman ’27 in the javelin (36.22 meters) and Arushi Kharbanda ’29 in the 5000 (18:40.52).
