MLAX: Rivier Holds Off Lasers’ Second-Half Surge
Newton, MA- A second-half push wasn’t enough for Lasell on Saturday afternoon, as the Lasers fell to unbeaten Rivier, 10-5, on Grellier Field. Rivier set the tone early, holding Lasell scoreless through the opening half while building a 3-0 lead. The Lasers generated opportunities—outshooting the Raiders 17-8 in the first two quarters—but were unable to break through against Rivier goalkeeper Jake Lydon, who finished with 15 saves on the day.
