The men’s volleyball team traveled to Blake Arena in Springfield, Massachusetts, for a Saturday afternoon tri-match against St. Joseph’s University of Long Island and No. 1-ranked Springfield College. The Bearcats opened the day against the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph’s L.I., falling 3–1 (23–25, 21-25, 25–21, 20–25). The Bearcats jumped out to a 14–9 lead in the first set before the Golden Eagles responded with a 5–0 run to even the score.
