Men’s Track & Field opens outdoor season at Rochester Spring Opener
ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The RIT men’s track & field team competed at the Rochester Spring Opener to begin the outdoor season, Sunday. On the track, RIT took the top five spots in the 400m, with sophomore John Elliot leading the Tigers with a time of 49.22 seconds with senior Ryan Senf taking second place (49.29). In the 800m, junior Jack DeFeo posted a time of 1:53.38 to win the event. A trio of RIT high jumpers swept the event with first-year Cooper Bradley placing first with a height of 1.99m.
