Men鈥檚 Track and Field Wins Three Events at WashU Invite
The Hope College men’s track and field team posted three first-place performances at the Washington University in St. Louis Invite on Saturday. The Flying Dutchmen won the discus, 800 and 5,000-meter runs. In the discus, sophomore Aaron Hunt (Hudsonville, Michigan / Hudsonville) recorded a first-place toss of 46.45 meters (152-5) to 16-plus feet ahead of the nearest competitor. In the 5,000, freshman Kaden Forward (Bear Lake, Michigan / Bear Lake) led a 1-2-3 Hope finish by clocking a run of 16:03.49.
