Springfield, Mass. 鈥� March 29, 2026 鈥� The Springfield College men’s lacrosse team fought back from 9-3 deficit midway through the third and ultimately defeated MIT, 11-10, in double overtime in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) tilt on Sunday afternoon on Stagg Field. Springfield, which has now won four straight contests against the Engineers picked up its second league win of the spring and now sits at 6-4 overall and 2-1 in the NEWMAC, while MIT dropped to 5-5, 2-1.
