Mayo鈥檚 No-Hitter Highlights Baseball鈥檚 Sweep of Emerson to Open NEWMAC Play
Springfield, Mass. 鈥� March 29, 2026 鈥� Backed by the first solo no-hitter for Springfield College since 2019, the Pride swept Emerson College in a New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) doubleheader on Sunday afternoon. Springfield won both games via run rule 11-1 and 16-0. Springfield’s record pushed to 12-5 overall and to 2-0 in NEWMAC play, while Emerson dropped to 2-12, 0-3.
