Long records 100th hit in softball鈥檚 split at Scranton
SCRANTON, Pa. — The Elizabethtown College softball team split its make-up doubleheader at Scranton on Sunday and junior Hannah Long recorded her 100th career hit in game two. GAME 1: ELIZABETHTOWN 10, SCRANTON 2 (F/5) Elizabethtown fell behind 1-0, but a two-run second inning put the Blue Jays in front. Morgan Carr doubled to left center to score Sarah Birner and Emily Bittner singled home Carr to make it 2-1.
